Martin Luther King, Jr. Program 2022

St. John’s Baptist Church in Woburn is hosting the Martin Luther King, Jr. Program on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 2 pm. Given the uncertainty related to health and safety with the increase in COVID cases, the event will be virtual this year.

Several groups will participate in the program, including SCI, Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Woburn, King Jesus Boston in Woburn, and Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury.

Theme

This year’s theme will be “What is in the name, DR. MLK?” Each letter of his name represents a word. D for Democracy, R for Restored, M for Martin’s, L for Legacy, and K for Known!

Welcome

We are deeply honored to host this year’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Program and the City of Woburn. This year the keynote speaker with be Minister Elizabeth Crockton from Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury, MA. Minister Crockton is a graduate of Talladega College in Alabama and a retired Educator in the Boston Public School system.
