St. John’s Baptist Church, The City of Woburn, and Woburn School District Thanks everyone who was able to attend this years Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration that was held on January 18, 2020.  We would like to Thank embRACE, Woburn Welcomes and Social Capitol Inc. Woburn for their participation in the Event, the students who participated in the Panel for their willingness to share their insight in the challenges we face in today’s society.

During the year, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Committee at St. John’s raises funds to provide financial assistance to students, who are committed to social justice, and have demonstrated leadership or active participation in community service, purse higher education. More information about the scholarship can be found in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Program.

Anyone wanting to donate a Gift of Freewill to the Scholarship Program can information on how to donate in the Give page. Depending on which method you chose to donate, please indicate in the fund designation or in the memo/description section that it is a Gift to the “Scholarship” program.
